WCS continues global growth with appointment of Australian Country Manager
Camberley (UK): 25th September, 2018. WCS (Worldwide Chain Stores) has today announced the appointment of Philip McNally as country manager for Australia. The appointment comes after increasing market activity in the region, where the company is seeing keen interest in its flagship WMS product, CSnx. WCS’ continued investment in CSnx, the adaptability of the offering for both on-premise and cloud, plus a solid customer base across Europe and the US is a mitigating factor in a wave of new business opportunities across Australia and Asia.
Joshila Makan, CEO of WCS commented, “Our customers are consistently realising significant efficiency, accuracy and cost savings within their logistics operations and these results
speak for themselves when we visit prospective customers. The ROI of CSnx is often realised within a short timeframe.
Australia is a significant market opportunity for us, so we’re excited to have appointed veteran supply chain expert, Philip McNally who has three decades of experience in the supply chain and logistics business.”
WCS’ CSnx is finding success by not only offering businesses functionalities that are way beyond the standard functionality of a WMS, but by also offering added value with the likes of cross docking, kitting, pick by line, consolidated picking, transshipment, yard/dock management, dashboards, import management, activity based costing and “cost to serve” modelling within its standard functionality.
Fundamental to their success is also their customer relationship management, which incorporates thought leader led customer events that brings global customers together to discuss the challenges each faces and allows them to leverage each other’s successes.
