The Warehousing Education and Research Council held its Annual Conference on 15th – 18th May in Providence, with WCS in attendance. The conference offered a range of networking sessions, breakout sessions and peer-to-peer meetings, intended to encourage the development and discussion of new ideas within the warehousing and logistics industry.

Key sessions included a diverse selection of topics, including ‘Crowdsourcing and Collaborative Warehousing & Lgistics’, ‘Leveraging Existing Technology to Achieve Transportation and Warehouse Savings’ and ‘Equipping Your Supply Chain for Omni-Channel Excellence’. These were supported by peer to peer discussions with representatives from leading warehousing software and management brands, as well as facility tours of regional warehouse locations.
